The Sacramento Regional Transit District on Saturday will move the light-rail station at St. Rose of Lima Park in downtown Sacramento. The station, currently located on K Street at 7th Street, will move around the corner, to 7th Street between K and L.
The move makes it possible for the station to serve Gold Line trains traveling from the Sacramento Valley Station to Historic Folsom as well as Blue Line trains that run from Watt/I-80 to Meadowview. The previous location only served the Blue Line.
